Avoid any unnecessary complications by booking an Airparks Cardiff Return Greet service. When your return back to the airport, an Airparks driver will bring your car to the terminal for you to collect. Upon your arrival at Airparks Cardiff
When you arrive at Airparks Cardiff, park in one of the marked bays and make your way to the bus shelter. Here you will find the new Autopilot self check-in kiosks. You can now try the fast track check-in service - it's there to help reduce any queues. Please make sure you have your printed email confirmation or your booking reference to use with the self check-in kiosks. The system will guide you through your check-in - it's extremely easy to use. If you do need help, there will always be our experienced staff on hand to help you. Once you have checked in, all you need to do is drop your car key into the secured box, and board the bus. Your car will be parked for you while you transfer to the airport.
Upon your return to Airparks Cardiff
Airparks Cardiff has a new drop-off and pick-up point. Just follow the pedestrian walkway and zebra crossings across the drop-off lanes in front of the terminal, and go down the steps to the Airparks bus stop. Transfers run every 20 minutes.
At the car park, make your way to the check-out building on the left of the bus shelter. Scan the barcode on your key collection ticket at one of the machines. The machine will tell you where your car is, and you'll get your car keys back. Then just collect your car and drive home. If you have any problems, press the assistance button.
If you come back early, you should call the car park so they can make sure your car is ready for you to collect.

Airparks is protected by a high security fence and a floodlighting system. Airparks also has 24 hour security patrols and CCTV surveillance.
Transfers to and from Cardiff airport
Transfers are included in the price and run every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day. The bus takes just three minutes to reach the airport. During the morning and afternoon rush hour, you should allow more time to compensate for traffic delays.
Directions to Airparks Cardiff
From the M4:
Exit the M4 at junction 33 and follow the A4232, signposted Barry / Airport / Cardiff West. At the A48 junction roundabout, take the third exit which is signposted A4050 Barry / Cardiff Airport.
At the next five roundabouts, carry on following signs for A4050 Barry / Cardiff Airport. At the sixth roundabout take the second exit, still following signs for A4050 Barry / Cardiff Airport.
When you get to the seventh roundabout, take the second exit (A4226), and at the eighth adjacent to the petrol station, take the second exit signposted A4226. When you reach the ninth roundabout, take the first exit signposted Cardiff Airport.
The entrance to Airparks and Cardiff Sky Plaza is approximately 200 meters on the right hand side.
Additional information for Airparks Cardiff
- Trailers are allowed in the Airparks car park but customers using one will have to pay for an additional space.
- Regrettably no lorries, mobile homes or caravans are permitted in the Airparks Cardiff complex.
- Please allow 40 minutes to check in and transfer to the main terminal building.
- Customers who will be using the Airparks transfer bus as a part of their journey to the airport must be advised that skis, snowboards, bicycles, surfboards or anything as large/larger than these items will not allowed on the bus. To avoid this, you can drop large items off at the terminal with a passenger and then drive your car to Airparks.
