Belfast International Airport is the oldest civil airport in Northern Ireland and today serves around 4.5 million customers a year. Situated approximately 18 miles northwest of Belfast, BIA is the busiest airport in Northern Ireland and the 11th busiest in the UK. Belfast Airport now flies to over 75 scheduled destinations worldwide and that number is still growing.

Getting to Belfast Airport by car

Belfast International Airport can be easily reached from many different directions. Those coming from Belfast should Take the M2 northbound, turn off at J5 and take the A57 directly to the airport.

Passengers coming from the south and west should take the M1 motorway northbound, turn off at the Moira junction and proceed via the A26 and Nutt's Corner to Belfast International Airport.

Dropping Off passengers

Cars dropping off passengers at the airport are permitted to use the 'set down zone' near the main terminal. BIA stress that no waiting or picking up of passengers is allowed in this area.

Short Stay Car Park

Cars picking up arrivals should follow the signs to the short stay car park. Unfortunately parking charges apply so please go prepared.

Long Stay Parking
