Heathrow is the UK's busiest airport. Based around two parallel runways and four terminals, Heathrow boasts the highest international passenger traffic in the world. Situated in the the West London borough of Hillingdon, the airport is one of only two that are actually located within the Greater London area. Expansion work on a fifth terminal is currently underway at Heathrow and is due for completion in March 2008. Because of its size, reaching Heathrow depends entirely on which terminal passengers need to use.
Access to the terminals is as follows:
Satellite Navigation users may wish to use the following postcodes:
Inter-terminal transfer between the central area (Terminals 1, 2 and 3) and Terminal 4 is by the Heathrow Express train service. The service is free and is well signposted.
Cars dropping off passengers at Heathrow are permitted to use the specific 'Setting Down' lanes outside each of the main terminals. Unfortunately no waiting is allowed on the terminal forecourts.
Cars picking up passengers must use the short stay car parks the locations of which are clearly signposted.
For passengers staying for longer than two nights, BCP offer a wide range of secure Heathrow car parking bays that serve all main terminals. Alternatively, customers may wish to utilize our valet (meet and greet) service for a super convenient check-in.
