Amendments to your parking booking

Q: Can I amend or cancel my Gatwick airport parking booking? If so, how?

A: All bookings are subject to terms and conditions. The amendment and cancellation policy will vary depending on the product you have booked. Any changes or cancellations must be made directly through BCP.

If you have booked one of our non-amendable, non-refundable Gatwick parking products then you will be unable to change or cancel your booking.

For those bookings that can be amended or cancelled, you can do so up to 24 hours prior to your arrival date. If you cancel after this time you will be charged the full rate, otherwise there is a cancellation fee of £9.50.

Q: What happens with my airport parking if my flight is delayed?

A: If you experience delays for any reason, there's no need to worry, your car will remain parked where it has been for the duration of your holiday. If it's possible for you to do so, you can let the car park know you are going to be late. The extra hours or days your car is parked will be charged at the car parks gate rate.


Parking Queries

Q: Should I keep my car keys once I’ve parked, or hand them to a member of staff?

A: As a general rule, if you park your car yourself, you should hang onto your keys. If you book a Meet and Greet parking service or Valet parking, or even a Park and Ride that has arrival lanes for you to park when you arrive, you will be leaving your keys with the professional car park staff. All of you confirmation will confirm the exact details of each car park.

Q: Will I have to pay for transfers to the airport terminal?

A: All airport parking you book with BCP at Gatwick includes transfers to both terminals, with the exception of Meet and Greet services as they do not require a bus transfer.

Q: What measures are in place to protect my vehicle?

A: We pride ourselves on offering only Park Mark approved car parks to our customers. The Park Mark is the police’s stamp of approval reserved for the UK’s most secure parking compounds. Security features in place include:

  • High security fences
  • 24 hour CCTV
  • Regular checks by security staff
  • Brightly lit parking bays

Q: What's the difference between on-airport and off-airport car parks at Gatwick?

A: On-airport car parks at Gatwick are within the perimeter of the airport grounds. Generally, on-airport car parks are Official Gatwick car parks. Some on-site car parks are within walking distance of the terminals, however some may still require a transfer. Those transfers tend to be shorter than parking outside of Gatwick as they are the closest car parks to the terminals.

Off-airport car parks are those located outside of Gatwick airport's perimeter. They are never more than a few miles away and so the transfers are always short.

Those on-airport car parks and the off-airport car parks that require a transfer, operate a free, fast and efficient bus service to the terminals.

Q: What does Meet and Greet mean?

A: Meet and Greet is our convenient type of Gatwick parking. It allows you to drive straight to the airport terminal where you will be met by a professional driver. Once you have unloaded your luggage, you can make your way to check-in and the driver will take your car to a secure car park where it will remain for the duration of your holiday. When you arrive home, your car will be returned back to the terminal for you. It is an ideal service for those travelling with small children, disabled passengers or if you have a lot of luggage.


Our Price Protection Policy

Q: What is the BCP Price Protection policy?

A: Our Price Protection policy means that BCP will not be beaten on price. In the unlikely event that you book with us and find the same product cheaper elsewhere within seven days, we’ll refund the difference. Terms and conditions apply.

Q: Will my Gatwick airport hotel include parking?

A: There are a large number of Gatwick airport hotels available with parking and transfers included. If you book your hotel and parking together you will save even more money. Every hotel is different so it is best to check before you book.
