The newly refurbished Mercure rooms have been designed with a contemporary look. All rooms feature an ensuite, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, mini fridge, laptop safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, heating, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. Triple rooms will have a double bed and a single sofa or rollaway bed. Family rooms will be either a twin or double room with two single sofa beds. For disabled guests the hotel has rooms which have been adapted for disabled guests, although they do not have walk-in showers. Rooms are available on request.
The Mercure Hotel has a gym for the adults and children's play area and kids room with games consoles and toys to keep the kids entertained.
Borders Restaurant and Bar specialises in international favourites and dinner is served from 17:30 to 22:00. They also offer an extensive children's menu to keep the little ones happy. for lunch head to Borders Bar for light bites and snacks. For breakfast choose between a hot and cold buffet from 6.30am or a continental breakfast from 6am.
You can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs regularly during the airport's opening hours. From Terminals 2 and 3, the Hoppa service runs every 40 minutes from 04:17 to 23:42, and from Terminal 5, it runs every 40 minutes from 04:42 to 23:22. There is no direct service to or from Terminal 4. You may need to catch a free train between terminals, depending on where you are travelling from, so leave plenty of time.
