November 6, 2008 saw the annual British Travel Awards take place at the Battersea Evolution arena in London, bringing together the leading travel companies in the UK.
Hosted by comedian Frankie Boyle, the prestigious awards ceremony saw BCP pick up the Silver Award for Best Airport Parking Company. In a category featuring such illustrious companies as APH, Pink Elephant and Purple Parking, BCP were named the recipients of the accolade, second only to overall winners Holiday Extras.
Representatives of BCP were present at the awards ceremony, with David Stratton, head of sales, picking up the award.
The British Travel Awards are among the most highly regarded within the travel industry. In order to be successful within a category, companies must first be nominated then receive votes from consumers and industry insiders. The eventual decision on the overall winner is decided by the British Travel Awards Academy, consisting of a number of industry experts and commentators.
