Flights from Birmingham airport have been disrupted by heavy snowfall. The airport remains open but travellers are advised to check with their airlines for further flight information.

Birmingham is not the only airport to be experiencing delays due to the snow. Luton, East Midlands, Inverness, Bristol and Cardiff have all experienced disruptions or closures.

The latest airport delays come after some of the heaviest snowfall the UK has seen for 18 years.
