Flights from Inverness airport delayed due to snow

Flights from Inverness airport have been disrupted by heavy snowfall this morning. The airport was closed but is now open for flights. Travellers are advised to check with their airlines for further flight information and times. Many flights have been delayed but some have been cancelled.

Inverness is not alone in experiencing delays due to snow. Luton, East Midlands, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff have all experienced disruptions or closures.

The latest airport delays come after some of the heaviest snowfall the UK has seen for 18 years.
