The fast growing London City Airport has now become the first airport to be ranked among the UK's top 500 brands by the country's business leaders and professionals.
In recognition of the airport's success in establishing it's reputation and making an impact on the UK business sector, London City Airport was awarded the Business Superbrand award. The airport is the only airport to have been placed in the top 500 and ranked at 415 in the Business Superbrand ranking.
Chief executive for London City Airport believes the award was a sign of the hub's popularity with business users and stated: "More and more business travellers are recognising the benefits of London City Airport as it is located on the doorstep of the City and Canary Wharf."
Other brands from the aviation industry featured in the listing including British Airways at number 8, Virgin Atlantic at 28, Emirates at 115 any budget airline easyJet at 180.
