Upon your arrival at Stansted Mid Stay

When you drive up to the entry barrier the machine will read and recognise your car registration number. A ticket will be printed showing your booking reference and the barrier will lift. Park your car and transfer to the airport.

Upon your return to Stansted Mid Stay

If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed on it (above the barcode), show your ticket and your booking confirmation to a parking attendant, or press the call button on the exit barrier for help.

If your ticket does have your booking reference printed on it simply drive to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket you were given when you arrived at the car park and the barrier will open.

Disabled facilities at Stansted Mid Stay

The transfer buses have low floors for easier access and there are disabled toilets and allocated disabled parking bays.

Security at Stansted Mid Stay

Stansted Mid Stay parking is a secured compound with high fences, CCTV and 24-hour manned patrols. Mid Stay Stansted has also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To achieve the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police to prove that they have modern security measures and are clean and well-lit.

Transfers to and from Stansted airport

Transfers run every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. The bus takes just a few minutes to cover the short distance to the terminal.

Directions to Stansted Mid Stay

Exit M11 at junction 8a (travelling from the south) or junction 8 (travelling from the north) and follow signs for Stansted airport. Then follow signs for the Mid Stay car park.

Additional information for Stansted Mid Stay

We advise you to arrive at Mid-Stay parking at least 30 minutes before your check-in to allow enough time to park your car and catch the shuttle bus.
Please ensure you put in the same card on the day as when you first booked your parking space. Use of a different card could result in you being charged twice.
