What used to be the Ramada is now the funky Ibis Styles, a fantastically low-priced hotel with stylish, minimalist decor, with free wifi and transfers included. The hotel is located at the NEC where you can catch the monorail over to the airport.
Rooms offer everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. Includes 32" television, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary WIFI.
Triple rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Family rooms have a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed.
The hotel has a few specially-designed rooms for for disabled guests. These rooms have space for wheelchairs to turn, level access to showers with rails and seats, an emergency call button and cord in the bathroom, a lowered spy hole and light switch and a strobe-light fire alarm for the hard of hearing.
The Ibis Styles restaurant serves a variety of dishes for dinner. The restaurant open from 6am-10.30pm.
When you're ready for your flight, take the 5-minute stroll from the hotel to the nearby train station, where you can catch the free monorail into the terminal. It runs from 05:15 to 02:00, and only takes a minute. Alternatively the the hotel will book you a taxi to the airport, which will cost you around £10.
