  • Car Park 2 No issues at all. Convenient drop off point near to airport entrance for passengers. Parking area is only slightly further and well within easy walking distance - no waiting for busses. The entry and exit to the carpark is straight forward with automatic entry and exit.

    Barrier lifted automatically, parked and walked to airport entrance (2 mins away). Returned, walk to car and drove home (barrier lifted automatically). Would definitely use again, hassle free.

  • Car Park 2 Positives:
    Website booking - Perfect.
    Car park entry - Perfect.
    Parking - Perfect.
    Proximity to terminal - Amazing.
    Negatives:
    1. Quidco - Incorrect cashback tracked. Fortunately I took screenshots and Quidco resolved.
    2. Departing car park - Unable to leave car park after long flight. Cars queued at the barrier. No one attended. I tried calling from pay machine. No answer. After 20 odd minutes, car park guy came out to another barrier and was asked by one of the customers in the queue what was happening. He replied he hadn't started shift yet and walked away. Another few minutes passed, then cars started to get through. When I reached barrier, the OCR did not open automatically. I pressed help and was told the cameras were down. I gave my reg number and barrier was opened. That 25 minute wait where no-one moved and customers unable to leave was inexcusable. There should be a contingency.
    Would I use again?
    Probably give it one more bash simply due to price and proximity to terminal.

  • Car Park 2 My registration was not recognised on my outward journey. I couldn't read the display properly because of bright sunlight and because it scrolled too fast. All I could see was something about the green button and I ended up with another ticket.
    Ironically, the ticket showed my registration number!
    On my return journey once again my registration wasn't recognised. I couldn't see the machine properly because it was nighttime and dark. I couldn't get it to read the bar code on my booking confirmation. I did, however, manage to see the intercom button and get assistance.
    Not at all a smooth experience.
