  • Mid Stay I always use BCP at London Stansted and Gatwick never have any problems, and always recommend to friends. This time we traveled from London Stansted.
    We parked in the Mid Stay car park, everything went so smoothly only waited a few minutes for the bus going to and from the airport.
    I always feel the car is safely parked and peace of mind knowing when I return the car will be just where I left it, and nobody has been using my car to drive around in.
    Bus drivers are very friendly and helpful.
    Keep up the good work, already got my next parking booked.

  • Short Stay I had a bad experience on 16th July on my return at Stansted's Orange Car Park. As I was leaving the car park I got to the barrier where my parking ticket didn't recognise that I had prepaid. £228 was demanded to let me through the barrier, despite me having prepaid about £63 in advance. I pressed the button on the barrier for assistance but initially the button didn't work, which was frustrating. after another few presses i heard an engaged/ringing which went on for so long (many minutes) that I assumed it was not working. I tried the phone number on the BCP parking printout but it appeared to refer to Stansted itself rather than to the car park, so after several more minutes I reversed back to the car park payment kiosk (being careful to avoid on-coming cars!), assuming that there were be a phone there that I could get assistance on this issue. However when i got back to the kiosk, I found that there was nowhere on it to call assistance. I rechecked my bcp parking printout and tried the phone number again. this time i got the right selection option to get through to you (or your parent company) who, after checking my booking ref C4OCR , advised me to retry the barrier and to press the assistance button once.
    On returning to another barrier (next to the one I tried before) I tried the ticket again and had the same "you owe £228" message, so I pressed the assistance button. The button didn't work so I pressed it several more times before I got the engaged tone. The assistance didn't answer for a lot longer than I would have expected. While waiting a person in a noisy grass cutter appeared and started to cut the grass which meant it would now be hard to hear when the assistance person answered (not his fault but very irritating). However the grass cutter moved off at about the time I eventually got the assistance person answer. I explained the situation to him and gave my bcp parking reference of C4OCR . I also gave him my surname. After another wait he opened the barrier so that I could finally leave.
    I found this situation stressful and frustrating. I usually go abroad several times a year and have used BCP without incident a great deal of times. Except, I had a similar incident at southend airport last year, although I got through to the barrier assistance person who let me out more quickly on that occasion.
    My number plates are always kept clean and are standard, unmodified, plates, so I am sure the issue is not reg number or plates. The booking form in both cases showed the right carpark on the right day & time with the right car reg number (i did get let out eventually in both cases which confirms the details were correct), so I do not know why this has now happened twice?
    As this has now happened twice, I am considering not using you again as it is stressful and very inconvenient when it happens. However I recognise that this might possibly be the fault of the car park operators rather than you (which is why my 'rating' is not on the lowest setting). Next time I take another trip (later this year I expect) I will need to consider if the savings are worth this occasional but very annoying hassle.

  • Long Stay Long wait for bus at terminal. Ages going round car park dropping people off. Barrier didn't recognise reg number on entry or exit. Whole experience took nearly as long as the flight itself! Massive improvements required.

  • Mid Stay Love The Mid Stay Car Park. Close to the main road. Buses every 10 mins. Safe and secure parking. Free pick up and drop off point. Would buy this over short or long stay anytime!
