  • Official On-Site issue tickets at entrance that can be used at exit directly, without having to go through the terminal services desk. You do have number plate recognition, so it shouldn't be hard.

  • Official On-Site Despite per-booking, my car was not recognised upon arrival at London City Airport and there was no BCP sign at car park entry. I had to use the intercom to ascertain that I was at the right place and to be told that on my return I should go to the parking desk to have my ticket validated. Upon my return, I could not find a "parking desk" so I went to the Enquries Desk, only to be told that I was at the right place! It would have been helpful to have better/clearer information.

  • Official On-Site London City airport require parking tickets to be manually validated at their Customer Information desk. This can result in unnecessary delays on return as the desk is rarely manned by more than 1 person. Many other airports have number-plate recognition software and cameras at car park exists which negates the need for manual validation. Given that parking costs at LCY are already very high in comparison to most UK airports the addition of such technology to give a greatly improved customer experience is long overdue.
