About Purple Parking Meet and Greet

Purple Parking Meet and Greet will refund you 50% if you wait longer than ten minutes at your arrival or return to the airport! If you have to wait for both - expect your parking to be free! Not only do they offer this fantastic deal, but they are a convenient and speedy service that will ensure your trip will get off to the easiest start possible.

On your Arrival

Call the car park when you are twenty minutes from the airport so they know to expect you. If you don't call, then you may end up spending longer in the car park than is allowed and be subject to an extra charge. Take a ticket at the entrance and the barrier will raise to allow you in. Park your car and your uniformed driver will meet you. Hand over your keys and the ticket you received at the entrance, then head off to the terminal - it's that easy!

On your Return

Once you've landed, call the car park to let them know and then walk to the car park where you dropped off your vehicle. A uniformed driver will be waiting for you and will return your keys, and provide you with a ticket for the exit barrier. You'll be required to pay a fee as you leave. If you exit within 10 minutes of arriving, the fee will be £3.20. If you exit within 29 minutes of arriving, the fee will cost £7.50.

Security

Your vehicle will be kept on a Park Mark awarded site for the duration of your trip. A Park Mark is awarded by the British Parking Association to car parks with excellent security facilities, so you know your vehicle will be in safe hands.

Transfers

No transfers are needed with this parking service, as you will drop off your car only a five minute walk from the terminal.

Accessibility

As no clambering on and off shuttle buses is needed, this parking service is ideal for customers with limited mobility.

Additional Information

  • If you have to wait longer than 10 minutes, you will be refunded half your booking. If you are made to wait both on drop-off and pick-up, you will be refunded the full price.
  • Only vehicles with a maximum height of 2 metres and width of 2.5 metres can be accepted.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure your car is fully legal, with a valid MOT, road tax, and insurance. You may be liable for extra charges incurred by the car park if your vehicle is not legal.
  • You can only drop off your vehicle during car park opening times. These are Monday to Friday: 5am-10pm. Saturday: 5am-1pm. Sunday: 11am-10pm.
  • On your return, show your booking confirmation and pay any parking charges.
  • Any damage to your vehicle that occurred while it was kept with Purple Parking must be reported before you leave.
  • Arrive as close to your booked time as possible. If you are more than twenty minutes late, you could be charged a £30 waiting fee. Make sure you call the car park before you arrive at the airport to avoid any unnecessary charges.
