  • Airparks Drop and Go with electric vehicle charge included BCP parking did exactly as they said, I drove in, parked as instructed, deposited my keys then got on to the waiting bus to Luton airport
    So far so good
    I have an electric car so I payed extra to have my car fully charged upon my return
    When I parked my battery meter said 8 hours to full charge
    On the morning of my return I remotely checked my charge status and I was alarmed to see it had not been plugged in
    I called to explain my car would not be ready for my return unless it was plugged in immediately and the person said they would get onto it right away
    30 minutes later I got the notification that my car was finally charging 😞
    When I arrived at the airport I checked the status again and I was down to 40 minutes to full charge
    Arriving in Luton airport and taking phone out of airplane mode it popped up to say fully charged 😀
    Catching the waiting bus then arriving at BCP the machine said my keys were not ready and contact the office
    Asking the one (yes only one man when several customers all needed assistance) man about my car he radioed through and said my car had only just finished charging which is why the keys are not ready (clearly incorrect and lying)
    A few minutes later another person walked in and handed my keys back to me and also explained my car had just finished (here we go again)
    Getting in my car I find my cable thrown into the passenger side
    Annoying because my cable was rolled up and inside it's bag when I left the car 😡
    When I arrived home I the driver door and now I see that someone with muddy boots gas left muddy footprints on my door sill 😡
    Anyway needing to change after the journey from Luton I open the charge cover and find that whoever unplugged left the flap open on the charge port 😠
    So whilst BCP did exactly what they say 'drop, bus, return and go) it's clear that no one cares
    I would like to think someone would have plugged in eventually but I can't say% and just leaving the lead, leaving the flap open and not even cleaning their boots before getting into customers vehicles is appalling and considering I paid extra for this
    I only used BCP as my usual place was already booked out but I would not recommend them to anyone else

    Got back to car to find it charging (GOOD), but the driver had left the seat in a very awkward position (BAD !)
    No issues though. Will use again.

    Electric cars shouldn't be left with low battery for long, so should be charged asap. I recently parked with you and my car wasn't charged for 6 days which will have damaged my battery. I was eventually informed that you don't charge the cars until the day before return. Can this be adjusted so they are charged at the beginning? That way there is no damage to the car. Or at least this needs to be made clear when booking, as I wouldn't leave my car with you again unless I knew you were actually going to charge it.

Unfortunately my car were not charged with explanation that they could not find the cable. The gentlemen working for you when I left the car and told him that car charger is below floor in the boot confirmed that this is ok and didn’t want to go with me to show him.
    Staff on collection confirmed that some refund will be given.

The car was only put on charge at 1.30 pm on the day of my arrival which meant it wasn't charged sufficiently for me to get home, and the car cleaning was less than acceptable. streaky on the outside, and the windows on the interior had not been cleaned. Overall not satisfied.
