This car park is situated only a 14 minute shuttle ride from Luton Airport and provides free transfers and a full charge of your electric car just a day or two before you return.

When you arrive at Airparks Drop & Go with electric vehicle charge at Luton Airport

Drive up to the barrier and wait for it to scan your number plate, it'll raise once it has done so. Park in one of the arrival lanes and check-in using one of the car park's check-in machines. Staff are available to assist you with this if needed. The check-in machine will issue you a ticket, keep this safe as you'll need it when you return. The machine will also give you a tag which you will need to attach to your keys, then drop them into the box with the same number as the lane you have parked in - remember to get your luggage before doing so.

Now, simply catch the bus to the terminal, your car will be parked and charged by a member of the team while you are away - remember to leave your charging cable in the car so it can be charged.

When you return to Luton Airport

Catch the shuttle bus back from the terminal, it leaves from bus stop "M" and you'll need to show the driver the ticket you got on arrival. When you get to the car park head to the check-out shelter and follow the instructions on the key dispenser to retrieve your keys. Your vehicle will have been charged up a day or two before your return so it'll be ready for your journey home. Insert your ticket into the exit barrier and off you go! If you lose your ticket, take photo ID to reception and they will assist you.

Transfers to and from Airparks

The transfer shuttle is free and takes 14 minutes to reach the terminal. The shuttles run every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, and even includes free WiFi.

The car park offers accessible spaces and well-lit, heated bus shelters. All transfer shuttles lower, have ramps and a wheelchair space.

Directions to Airparks at Luton Airport

  • Leave the M1 at junction 10.
  • At the motorway roundabout, take the first exit from the north or the second exit from the south onto Airport Way A1081.
  • Keep in the left hand lane and take the slip road signposted towards St. Albans, Harpenden A1081.
  • You'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road.
  • At the next roundabout, take the second exit signposted St Albans, Harpenden A1081.
  • Shortly after, turn right onto Newlands Road, following signs for Airparks.
  • Turn left onto the B4540, signposted Slip End and Markyate.
  • At the traffic lights, turn right onto Grove Road.
  • Take the first left onto the service road.
  • Airparks will be on the right after about 100 meters.
