Formerly 'Central Car Storage', Airparks ShortRun is a quick Park and Ride service for travellers looking for a cheap deal without stinting on convenience or security. Airparks are experts in the industry and know how to take care of their customers. Easy, slick procedures and quick transfers to the terminal.
Park infront of the reception building near the entrance to the car park. Unload your luggage and step into reception. Show Airparks staff your BCP booking confirmation, hand them your car keys and they will give you a ticket for your return. Then step onto the shuttle bus and it will have you at the terminal in 5 minutes.
Once you have collected your luggage, give Airparks a call and they will dispatch the shuttle bus to collect you from outside the terminal. Once back at Airparks car park, collect your keys from reception and hand them your parking ticket. Your car will be waiting nearby for you to step into and start making your journey home.
The transfer shuttle bus is free and takes just 4-5 minutes from Airparks to the terminal. It runs as and when it is needed so waiting is kept to a minimum.
There are no disabled spaces at the car park but Airparks drivers will collect your car from reception and park it for you. The buses are not wheelchair accessible. However, an Airparks driver can drive you to the airport on request. The car park will always have staff on hand to help.
Airparks ShortRun is an award winning, secured car park. It has CCTV cameras covering all customer cars.
If your vehicle is over 4.8 metres long or 2 metres wide, you will need to book the special ShortRun for Large Vehicles package. You will find this listed alongside the other services at Luton when you enter your dates and search. Shortrun can store vehicles up to 9.6 metres long.
