Pre-book the Mid Stay car park 2 at East Midlands airport and you can simply, park your car and walk to check-in. Better still, this car park is fully secured with excellent security features and if you're not keen on leaving your car keys behind while you jet-off, you won't have to at this car park - you can take them with you.
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system will recognise your vehicle as you approach the entry barrier. It is important you enter your vehicle registration correctly at the time of booking so you are recognised on the day. The machine will issue your pre-paid ticket (If a ticket is not automatically dispensed, press the "Assistance" button). We recommend you bring your BCP booking confirmation with you in case your registration number is not recognised. Park your car in any available space and walk straight to the terminal.
Return to your car and drive to the exit barrier. Insert your parking ticket to raise the barrier and exit. If there should be a problem and either the barrier does not lift or the ticket machine asks for payment, do not insert your credit/debit card. Press the intercom button for assistance and quote your reference number on your BCP booking confirmation.
Blue badge holders may pre-book this Mid Stay product and park in the Short Stay car park instead where dedicated spaces are available. Please ensure that your Blue badge is clearly displayed and upon your return state that you have parked in the Short stay car park when you present your entry ticket and booking confirmation to the Car park enquiries office (situated in the Short stay car park).
The car park has perimeter fencing, CCTV and regular security patrols. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has measures in place to create a safer environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.
There is no need for a transfer bus, you can simply walk to the terminal. It'll take a few minutes.
No motor homes, lorries, trailers or caravans are permitted even if multiple spaces are booked.
