  • Long Stay South The car park was very very full , and it took us far too long to find a space ;fortunately we had time to spare , but for anyone in a hurry they could have lost their gate time at the terminal .The car park itself is well signed and the bus service is excellent , with many stops .
    We also had a problem entering the car park , as the machine did not accept our print-out , so we had to struggle in the dark to see the instructions on the barrier machine as the lighting was very poor , and were assisted via a phone call , with a ticket being issued aurtomatically . Again , bad if in a hurry .On our return it was necessary to visit the reception office to have the ticket validated before leaving - this is not made very clear in the instructions issued at the time of booking and could easily be missed by a less carefull client . It should be emphasised in BOLD letters .
    But it is excellent value for money - coming to the airport would have cost twice as much by public transport ( if 2 or more people travelling ) . The staff were helpful and courteous which prevents me from giving even lower marks .
