When you’re booking a holiday there are always questions that need answering, things that perhaps need a little more explanation. BCP’s aim is to make your booking process as easy as possible by answering all the questions that may crop up along the way.

We have taken the time to speak to our award-winning customer service team to find out the most common queries that come from our customers relating to Heathrow parking. These frequently asked questions have been put together in a list to help you find all the answers you're looking for.

Amendments to your parking booking

Q: Can I amend or cancel my Heathrow airport parking booking? If so, how?

A: All cancellations and amendments are subject to the terms and conditions of each product and must be made directly through BCP.

We cannot change or cancel any parking bought as a non-amendable, non-refundable package.

For those bookings that can be amended or cancelled, you can do so up to 24 hours prior to your arrival date. If you cancel after this time you will be charged the full rate, otherwise there is a cancellation fee of £9.50.

Changes can be made easily online using the ‘manage my booking’ option at the top of the page or alternatively you can contact us.

Q: What if my flight is delayed and I don't make it back to my car for the time I have booked?

A: Your car will remain parked safely where it has been for the duration of your holiday. If it's possible you can let the car park know you are going to be late. The extra hours or days your car remains parked will be charged at the car parks gate rate.

Q: Do I hand my car keys in once I’ve parked?

A: There are a number of services that require you to hand your keys over to a member of staff. These services are:

If you are parking in any other car park, you can keep hold of your keys while you’re away.

Q: Are transfers to the Heathrow Airport terminals included in the parking price?

A: Transfers to the airport terminals are included in your booking with all of our Heathrow parking options. With the exception of our valet parking services as they do not require a bus transfer.

Q: Can I be sure that my car will be safe?

A: The police rank our facilities as among the safest in the UK, and our security record is exemplary. We employ the most up-to-date features to ensure that the security at our car parks is second-to-none:

  • Barriers at all entrances and exits
  • Comprehensive CCTV coverage
  • Hourly security patrols
  • Heavy duty perimeter fencing
  • Many car parks have the Park Mark Award for safety

Q: What's the difference between on-airport and off-airport car parks at Heathrow?

A: On-airport car parks at Heathrow are within the grounds of the airport. More often than not they are Official Heathrow Car Parks. The transfers tend to be shorter as they are the closest car parks to the terminals.

Off-airport car parks are those outside of the airport's perimeter. They are never more than a few miles away and so the transfers are always short.

Both on-airport and off-airport car parks that require a transfer operate a free, fast and efficient bus service to the terminals.

Q: What does Meet and Greet mean?

A: Meet and Greet is a service that allows you to drive straight to the airport terminal where you will be met by your professional driver. Once you are unpacked, you are free to make your way to check-in whilst the driver takes your car and parks it safely for you. You will be met at the airport terminal upon your return. It is a very convenient service for those travelling with small children, disabled passengers or if you have a lot of luggage.

Q: What is the BCP Price Protection policy?

A: Our Price Protection policy is an assurance that we won’t be beaten on price. We promise to refund the difference if you book with us and find the same service at a better price within seven days, subject to terms and conditions.

Q: Are there a lot of airport hotels close to Heathrow airport?

A: Yes, BCP have a great selection of Heathrow airport hotels available for you to choose from. You can choose your hotel dependent on the terminal you are flying from and compare hotels to find the ideal one to suit your specific travel needs.

Q: Will my Heathrow airport hotel include parking?

A: There are a large number of Heathrow airport hotels available with parking and transfers included. If you book your hotel and parking together you will save even more money. Every hotel is different so it is best to check before you book.

Q: Do BCP provide travel insurance?
