Transfers to and from Gatwick airport

The Arora is convenient for any form of transportation to and from Gatwick. The train station is a stones throw away, linked to the hotel by a gate at the end of the platform. Tickets to the airport cost around £3, and the journey takes just 8 minutes - there's a train every 5 minutes between 05:00 and 00:00. Alternatively the H4 shuttle bus runs every hour from 4:35 right through to 00:35. It's 20-30 minutes to the airport and costs £3.50 per person or £6 for two adults travelling together. It's £2.50 per child under 15 but for every paying adult, one child 5 or under can travel free!

When the train and bus aren't running, or if it's more convenient, you can book a taxi through the hotel - they cost about £12 each way.

Room facilities

The Arora hotel is 5 floors high and boasts modern, stylish rooms with excellent views - windows are either outwards-facing, or have a view of the atrium and Palm Bar. Each room has a television, tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, a trouser press and a telephone. All of the bathrooms are fully equipped with both a shower and a bath and the rooms are all sound-proofed: just because the hotel is 24/7, doesn't mean you need to be.

Dining at the Arora International

You'll be spoilt for choice at the Arora, whether you're looking for a proper sit-down restaurant such as The Grill or you'd rather something a little lighter at one of the two bars.

Head to Morgan's Pub for a choice of traditional English classics such as ham, egg & chips or bangers & mash, best enjoyed with a cold pint. For more choice, a wide range of hot and cold dishes are available from the Palm Deli at any time of day.

The Grill prides itself on serving great quality local produce, the origins of which you can read about in their mouth-watering seasonally changing menu. From burgers and steaks to more unusual options like veal and monkfish, and a great selection of vegetarian dishes, there's something for everyone.
