Little Foxes hotel has just 16 rooms on two floors and the annexe outside the main building, which lets the staff give you the kind of friendly, personal service you just don't get in larger hotels. The focus for the rooms is on character, with each having a unique size and layout, but still with a great view of the hotel gardens. Despite each room having its own character, they're all clean and comfortable, with a TV, en suite, all you need to make hot drinks and a hair dryer. All have quaint little features and furnishings that have so much more personality than the spartan, uniform feel of big-name hotels.
Enjoy a tipple or light snack in the bar. The Little Foxes bar is open from 18:00-23:00, offering a selection of light bar snacks such as paté and toast, ploughman’s, toasties, and hot baguettes. Food is served from 18:30-21:30 and prices range from £3.00 to £7.50 (prices are correct at the time of writing but are subject to change). Alternatively, the Royal Oak pub is just under a mile away on Ifield Green and serves hot and cold meals at lunch and dinner. Sandwiches, pasta bakes and daily specials cost between £5 and £10.
