Mid Stay Multi Storey P12, (formally Multi Storey Terminal 1) offers convenient, easy parking at Manchester Airport with a short walk to the terminals. It is a great choice for travellers who want to park close to check in while keeping their journey simple and stress free.
Important: Manchester Airport has updated its terminal layout. Terminal 1 has now been renamed Terminal 3, which is used by Ryanair only. All other airlines now operate from Terminal 2. If you are travelling from 5 March 2026, please double check your terminal and car park before you set off. Car parks are now labelled using a numbered system, and this car park is P12.
Please remember to take your booking reference and the credit or debit card you booked with to the car park. The car park may operate different entry systems. If prompted, insert your card and the barrier will lift. In some cases, your number plate will be recognised automatically and a token may be issued. If the barrier does not open, do not take a ticket, but press the help button and speak to a member of staff.
When exiting the car park, follow the instructions given on entry. You may need to insert your card, token or scan your barcode. If you experience any issues, press the intercom button for assistance.
You cannot park much closer than Mid Stay Multi Storey P12. With a short walk to the terminals and covered walkways, you can stay sheltered from the weather and get your trip off to a smooth start.
This car park is DDA compliant, with designated spaces available for disabled customers.
This car park is monitored by CCTV and has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. Park Mark sites are managed by responsible operators and have measures in place to help create a secure environment for both you and your vehicle.
No transfers are required. The car park is within walking distance of the terminals, with covered walkways to help keep your journey quick and convenient.
Manchester Airport is best accessed from the M56 motorway at junction 5.
From the south, join the M56 via the M6 at junction 20. From the north, the M56 can be accessed via the M60 or M6.
Leave the M56 at junction 5 and follow signs for Manchester Airport. Continue to follow signs for your terminal and for Mid Stay or P12 parking, as airport signage is now based on numbered car parks.
