About APH at Manchester Airport
APH Manchester is an ideal off site parking service for travellers looking for a low cost alternative to official airport parking. Transfers operate 24 hours a day, every 10 to 15 minutes, and usually take around five minutes to reach the airport. APH Manchester serves Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.
Important information before you travel
If you are travelling from 5 March 2026, please double check your terminal before you set off. Manchester Airport now operates a simpler two terminal layout, with Terminal 2 for all airlines except Ryanair and Terminal 3 for Ryanair only. Airport parking is also being renamed to a numbered system from P1 to P16, so airport signage may look different when you arrive.
Upon your arrival at APH Manchester
When you arrive at the car park, please go to reception to check in. Make sure you have your printed booking confirmation or booking reference and your car keys. The team at reception will check your car in, leaving you free to catch the transfer bus. A fully insured member of staff will park your car while you transfer to the airport.
Upon your return to Manchester Airport
When you return, please catch the transfer bus from outside the terminal. On arrival back at the car park, go to reception to collect your car keys before exiting the car park.
You do not need to spend all of your pennies on your parking at Manchester Airport. With APH you can expect swift service and top notch security, with plenty left over to spend on your holiday.
Disabled facilities at APH Manchester
The car park has transfer buses which are accessible for wheelchair users. Assistance is available for disabled drivers and passengers. Please call the car park before you arrive to confirm.
Security at APH Manchester
APH Manchester has strong security measures in place, including the Park Mark award for safer parking. Features include 24 hour CCTV surveillance, entrance and exit barriers, security fencing and regular patrols.
Transfers to and from Manchester Airport
Transfers are carried out by courtesy bus. This service runs every 10 to 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and the journey itself usually takes around five minutes.
Directions to APH Manchester
From the M60 anti clockwise:
- Leave the M60 at junction 5.
- Exit at the second junction signposted the A560.
- At the roundabout turn left signposted Sharston.
- At the next roundabout continue straight over.
- You will come to another roundabout where you will need to turn left into Sharston Industrial Estate.
- Finally take the first left and APH Manchester is on the right.
From the M60 clockwise:
- Leave the M60 at junction 4 onto the M56.
- Exit the M56 at junction 2 signposted Wythenshawe.
- Go right at the next roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate.
- Finally take the first left and APH Manchester is on the right.
From the M6 Cheshire:
- Join the M56.
- Exit at junction 3A signposted the A560.
- Turn right onto the A560 and head straight over the next roundabout.
- At the next roundabout turn left onto Sharston Industrial Estate.
- Finally take the first left and APH Manchester is on the right.
Additional information for APH Manchester
- APH are unable to transport bikes, surfboards, windsurfing boards or items of a similar size on their transfer buses.
- Regrettably, no trailers, mobile homes or caravans are permitted within the compound.
- The vehicle height limit is 2.4 metres or 7.5 feet.
