Thomas Cook's Summer Programme at Cardiff

Thomas Cook are getting the summer into full swing at Cardiff International Airport having just announced the final touches to it's summer flight programme which will see a Thomas Cook aircraft based at the Welsh airport for the first time.

The airline's summer schedule began at the start of May with the Airbus A321 aircraft based at the airport expected to transport around 39,000 travellers to their holiday destinations over the season. The aircraft carries 220 passengers at a time.

Managing Director of Thomas Cook Airlines, Frank Pullman stated: "We took the decision to base an aircraft at Cardiff International Airport this summer due to popularity of and the demand for the flights we offer."

Cardiff International Airport offers flights to a total of 22 destinations including Alicante, Bourgas in Bulgaria and even as far as Sham el Sheikh in Egypt.
